50mm wood framing

Robust Construction: We build a protective "bumper" around the hearth using heavy-duty 50x50mm timber, reinforced with top-bracing.
Maximum Stability: Every frame is screwed together (never nailed) to prevent shifting or loosening during transit.
Transit-Ready: This custom framing is specifically designed to protect the product's edges and surface as it moves through the pallet network.
Sustainable Value: We use high-quality wood that many of our trade customers reuse for installation work—reducing waste and saving on material costs.

Before the final wrap and "Fragile" labeling, we place a sacrificial cardboard box on top of the unit. This serves two critical functions:

Load Deterrent: The box acts as a visual and physical barrier, discouraging forklift operators from double-stacking other pallets on top.
Integrity Indicator: If the box arrives crushed, it provides immediate, visible evidence that a heavy object was placed on it during transit.
Final Safeguard: Once the box is positioned, the entire unit is securely wrapped and marked with high-visibility "Fragile" tape to alert handlers to use extra care.
